...born 5/10/60 in Detroit...number five in a family of ten...studied music using a player piano 'til age 7... family moved at that time but left the player piano behind... next keyboard instrument arrived four years later...studied chord structure from that point on...had music theory as well as band (clarinet) freshman year in high school, but only for about four months...tried many other instruments at that time as well, favoring keyboards...first electronic keyboard arrived in 1979, a console organ and two other electronic keyboards arrived in the next year...began writing original music with younger brothers...briefly played in an oldies/Motown cover group called 'Mondo Cane'...left four months later...joined with brothers and others to form 'Catalyst', an all-original rock band...joined Mondo Cane again in 1985, (slightly different line up) and continued to play with that group 'til 1987...auditioned for oldies vocal group, 'The Larados' (The Reflections) and played keys with them for just over eight years...worked in sound engineering off and on for those eight years and eventually set up with Francisco Solano (guitarist with the original line up of Mondo Cane) and completed the recording and pressing of our first CD "Atmosphere".
