I am the manager and drummer for The Classics. I have a great love and appreciation for music from the 50's and 60's. Having several older siblings I grew up listening to Elvis, The Beatles, The Platters, and all the other great entertainers from the 50's and 60's. I began playing drums at the age of eleven when my father presented me with a set of drums to help me cope with the death of my mother. I played in the various bands that junior high and high school offered, i.e., concert band, marching band and jazz band. During high school I performed in my first "Rock Band" called Aire. Aire played at various high school events in and around the Detroit area. Since then (1974) I have played in a variety of bands performing Rock, Gospel, and Big Band music. For over thirty years now, music and drumming have been an important part of my life.
